Denver Water declares Stage 1 Drought

The Denver Water Board of Commissioners declared a Stage 1 drought on March 25, 2026.

These restrictions apply to residents supplied by Denver Water.

Larger users, such as the CCVPRD, have been working with Denver Water to negociate a water reduction policy for this summer. The District will work to reduce it's water usage by 20% to meet the requirements agreed upon with Denver Water.

As a result, District parks my receive less than usual watering, and appear less green that we are accustomed to. 

Together with the District meeting it's 20% reduction goal, and the residents adhering to their guidelines, will help the Front Range meet it's water usage reduction goals!
