Cherry Creek Vista Park and Recreation District
Website Accessibility Progress-To-Date Report – April 1, 2025
Cherry Creek Vista Park and Recreation District (the “District”), in accordance with Colorado law, is committed to applying standard configurations for technologies and services, in accordance with the technical standards provided by:
• World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA;
• HB21-110 and HB24-1454;
• Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act of 1973 Chapters 3,4,6;
• Following C.R.S. 24-85-101 to 24-85-104, ARTICLE 85; and
• 8 CCR 1501- 11 Rules Establishing Technology Accessibility Standards.
The District is committed to providing accessible digital information to all members of the public. Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards the day when the District’s online services and digital communications are fully accessible to the public, including equal access for persons with disabilities. The District is implementing its plan to prioritize, evaluate, remediate, and continuously improve its online services and digital communications. The District will be updating this report quarterly.
As of April 1, 2025, the District makes the following progress report:
1. The District continues to assess the accessibility of its website including active use and newly created, developed, acquired or purchased information on or after July 1, 2024, and is taking action to improve the site’s accessibility. The District continues to identify and evaluate documents on its website which need remediation, including the need for technical assistance for remediation and associated cost estimates.
2. The District continues to implement its plan for providing reasonable accommodations and modifications until the technology can be made accessible. The District, via the designated Compliance Coordinator, responded to and addressed all, if any, reports of inaccessibility digital content and accessibility accommodation requests to date.
3. The District is continuing to update its website as appropriate.

Cherry Creek Vista Parks & Recreation District (the “District”), in accordance with Colorado law, is committed to applying standard configurations for technologies and services, in accordance with the technical standards provided by:

The District is in the process of identifying and evaluating documents on its website which need remediation, including required technical assistance for remediation and associated cost estimates.
2. The District or a representative continues to attend various training seminars and webinars related to website accessibility and remediation.
3. The District has designated a Compliance Coordinator and contact information for website disability-related accommodations and has contracted with a website host to begin maintaining and/or updating the website pages to be navigable and accessible to all users. The Compliance Coordinator has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices and requirements.
4. The District has prepared a plan and policy to comply with the necessary accessibility standards and has incorporated accessibility compliance costs as part of the District’s procurement processes.
5. The District continues to implement its plan for providing reasonable accommodation and modification until the technology can be made accessible.
6. The District will become compliant with accessibility standards, and will continue monitoring and updating the website accordingly.

Progress-To-Date Report - July 1, 2024
The Cherry Creek Vista Park and Recreation District (the “District”) is committed to continued work to maintain an accessible website as described in the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and HB21-1110 and HB24-1454 (the “accessibility standards”). The District will be updating this report quarterly based on the Compliance Stages described as Exhibit A.
As of July 1, 2024, the District makes the following progress report and is on Step Three:
Stage 1: The District has assessed the accessibility of the website and noted actions
that must be taken to improve the site’s accessibility.
Stage 2: The District or a representative has attended various training seminars and
webinars related to website accessibility and remediation.
Stage 3: The District has taken steps to assign a compliance officer and/or contract
with a website host to begin maintaining and/or updating the website pages to be
navigable and accessible to all users.
Stage 4: The District has prepared a plan and policy to comply with the necessary
accessibility standards and actions necessary to remediate all documents found on the
District’s website to be accessible to all users.
Stage 5: The District has completed all necessary updates to become compliant
with accessibility standards and will continue monitoring and updating the website
indefinitely.
The District intends to complete all Stages no later than July 1, 2025.
